North Korea launches 'ballistic missile' towards Sea of Japan

NORTH Korea has launched a suspected ballistic missile off its east coast towards the Sea of Japan, officials have said. South Korean military initally reported it as an unidentified projectile and said it travelled around 155miles (250km). Japan officials believe it may have been a ballistic missile amid World War 3 fears. Kim Jong-un’s latest show of strength was immediately reported to South Korean President Moon Jae-in. The South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the "unidentified projectile" was fired from a site in North Korea 's eastern province of Gangwon.

Inspector General Of Police Gives Update On Notorious Kidnapper Evans

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, said on Friday that the notorious kidnapper, Chukwudidumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, would be charged to court soon. Idris attributed the delay in Evans’ prosecution to police investigations to track down his accomplices within and outside the country. Evans had raked in millions of dollars as ransoms paid to him by his victims’ families before his arrest on June 10, 2017, in one of his mansions at Magodo, Lagos State. The IG, who spoke at a lecture which centred on proffering solutions to security challenges in Lagos, expressed worry at the rate at which the youth were venturing into kidnapping. Masked church drummer attempts to kill widow, daughter, after bribing guard with N3k

A church drummer, Alex John, has been arrested by the homicide detectives attached to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos State. According to a report by NewTelegraph, John scaled the fence into the house of the 52-year-old widow, Mrs. Comfort Isong, and attacked her with a knife at the Isheri area at about 2a.m, last Tuesday. When Isong’s 17-yearold daughter, Emmanuella, heard her mother’s screams, she woke up and tried to stop the masked armed man. The man, however, turned on her and stabbed her in five different parts of her body. Nigerian Rival Gangs Fight With Swords Inside Indian Hospital, Staff Hide in Toilets .

Armed with swords and cleavers, around a dozen Nigerian nationals fought in a hospital in south Delhi as terrified staff hid in toilets and upper floors. The incident took place on Saturday, after three wounded Nigerians came to the hospital in Saket for treatment. Around 4 am, when the wounded men walked in, their friends allegedly waited outside. The police said the fight started when a member of a rival gang drove up in an auto-rickshaw and barged in. Security footage captured the clashes and chilling visuals of men holding cleavers. The rival groups clashed for nearly an hour in the hospital reception. A guard who tried to stop them was also beaten and left injured. The staff and nurses of the clinic reportedly bolted all access to the upper floors where patients were recovering.
