Alausa Church Deserted Over Sacking Of Pastor

The Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, was a shadow of itself on Sunday during the Sunday service as many members of the church did not show up. According to The PUNCH, it was observed that the chapel was sparsely filled as the service, which usually ended around 1pm, was brought to a close at 11.30am. Of the 30 church members that were supposed to be part of the birthday thanksgiving service for the month of May, only nine were present. From the prayer session, led by the Chaplain, Very Rev. Ayo Oyadotun to the choir ministration, the general theme was overcoming difficult times and fighting forces seeking to scatter the church. This low turnout by the members was allegedly attributed to the sacking of Venerable Femi Taiwo by the Governing Council of the church allegedly on the orders of the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. Akpororo reacts to DJ Timmy calling his wife a sex slave

Comedian Akpororo, has finally reacted to being dragged by rapper Yung6ix and his DJ DJ Timmy yesterday. Recall DJ Timmy slammed Akpororo over his statement about Yung6ix and his decision to spend N3.6m on drinks at a club when he could have used it to get a hit song, something he is yet to have since joining the music industry. Timmy had gone on to release a video on IG slamming Akpororo's wife and calling her a sex slave who had 5 abortions for an unknown dancer. LIB reached out to Akpororo asking if he would be taling legal actions against the rapper and his DJ. His response: "No need" "No need. Don't worry, they are just joking. No need".

Here are photos from the scene at the Abuja residence of Bilyamin Muhammed Bello, the son of a former PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, who was stabbed to the death by his wife, Maryam Sanda, the daughter of embattled former Aso Savings boss, Hajia Maimuna Aliyu over the weekend. It was gathered that the incident happened following an allegation of infidelity against Muhammed. Maryam reportedly saw text message on the deceased’s phone which infuriated her. She was alleged to have stabbed Bilyamin (her husband) three times in the back and severally on his private part at their Maitama home in Abuja. Festac man, Chigozie Topaz Arukwe dies after being hit by a car

FMB gathered that Chigozie Topaz Arukwe was expecting his parents who are currently based in US, back in Nigeria and began preparations to give them a grand welcoming by renovating their apartment at 41 road Festac on Friday. He decided to make it easy for the painters after they made him realize the paint bought won't be enough, so he went to get the paint himself at Agboju Old Ojo Road. He parked his jeep at Agboju, crossed over to Old Ojo Road but met his death on his way back after being hit by a car on Badagry Expressway. He died on the spot. Many testified that Chigozie was a very generous fellow. May his soul rest in peace.
