Abuja serial car thief nabbed again, two months after finishing a jail term

The police in Abuja apprehended a serial car thief on Wednesday while attempting to remove a Toyota Camry 2000 model car with a master key from where it was parked at NAICO office, Central Business District. .

The police said the suspect, Emmanuel Lere, 34 years, had just served a jail term for a similar offence and was released in March, 2017. The FCT police spokesman, Usen Omorodion, said the suspect was in custody assisting with ongoing investigation.
