SOLDIER ARRESTED FOR CAR SNATCHING.

Six others held for robbery, cultism, fire arms.

Ebonyi State Police Command on Thursday paraded a court-marshal soldier, Kingsley Onugbu for car snatching.

Kinsley, who was serving at 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maidugri, Borno State, was paraded alongside Okechukwu Chika for the crime.

The command also paraded five other suspects over armed robbery, cultism and unlawful possession of arms.

Kinsley, who hails from Ezza North Local Government Area, possess as soldier to illegally cross vehicles from the border for car dealers.

He is also said to have been snatching cars from members of the public. The suspect and Okechukwu Chika allegedly snatched a Toyota Camry with registration number, LSD 302 AN from a man, who died during the operation.

Parading the suspect and six others before journalists in Abakaliki, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Dr. Jude Madu, said the suspects were apprehended at various locations in the state.
