A thief who has been terrorizing the neighborhood, breaking into people’s shops was apprehended while stealing armored cable wires at Umuguma Owerri neighborhood, Imo State capital. He was caught by residents of the neighborhood, as he was stripped unclad, beaten and was about to be set ablaze before police officers came to rescue him.
