This FAME thing has gotten into the heads of some that they assume everything especially duty of care, moreso one that run through the media is for fame or attention. More reason some colleagues are always careful about helping each other not because there is lost love in the industry.. People are forced to careless.
Who doesnt have fame/money or attention from his or her hussle? Do you even know the level of fame or money the other person wanted. Fame at 30% may see XY happy and contented, while Fame at 70% is still sadness to Z and set higher targets. That is why what people do or sacrifice for fame or riches differs.
I have stick my neck out or speak in support of some and you readily read through their minds that they are ungrateful because they assume you are doing so because of fame. ASK THEM HOW DID THEY EVEN GET TO KNOW YOU?
Stop engaging in habits that kills duty of care in the industry. We are bound to be popular, richer, loved, accepted and so on than each other. I still see no reason why the envy, hate and jealousy sets in. IF YOU ARE MEANT FOR THIS JOB, YOUR TIME IS COMING, if you can be consistent with excellence always in consideration.
