Buhari’s wife leaves for UK to see President

Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, again, on Sunday, left Nigeria for London in the United Kingdom, to visit her husband, Muhammadu Buhari, who has been receiving medical attention in the British capital since May 7. She will however have a stopover in Addis Abba, Ethiopia, before continuing her journey to London on Tuesday. This marks the second time Mrs. Buhari would be visiting her ailing husband since he embarked on his second medical vacation of the year close to 60 days ago. 52 Boko Haram ex-combatants undergoing deradicalisation in Gombe – Army

A total of 52 repentant Boko Haram members are undergoing deradicalisation in Gombe, the coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Bamidele Shafa, a Maj.-Gen., has said. Mr. Shafa told journalists on Saturday in Gombe that the ex-Boko Haram members would undergo the programme for 16 weeks, during which they would be rehabilitated and subsequently reintegrated into the larger society. He said, during their stay in camp, they would go through a well planned training including psycho-social therapy by various Federal Government agencies. The coordinator added that former terrorists would undergo training on citizenship, to make them responsible citizens. Thief congratulates police for arresting him so quickly

A Guinean thief has congratulated the police for arresting him.He felicitated with the police while being interviewed after he was caught. In a viral video, Boubacar Diallo, and his accomplice freely admitted to stealing 50million Guinean francs (N2million) from a phone shop in the north-western city. Diallo said, “The national police head office should be congratulated. I also want to say that the police need equipment because it has well-trained officers.
