Passengers stranded for over 10 hours, following a blackout at Atlanta airport

A blackout at the world's busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, left thousands of travelers stranded and hundreds of flights at a standstill on the tarmac, late Sunday night.

Airport officials don't know the cause of the power outage yet but Georgia Power said it believes a fire at an underground facility may have knocked out electricity. After more than 10 hours without power, electricity was restored.
