Alleged Marginalization: Presidency releases full list of Buhari's appointees so far

The Presidency has released a full list of all the appointments made by Pres. Buhari since he assumed office on May 29, 2015. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, released the list of 159 appointees on Saturday night. “Here is an updated table of Pres. Buhari’s appointments, disproving the allegations of lopsidedness,” the presidential spokesperson said while forwarding the list to journalists. EFCC Arrests Four Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Edo State

Four suspected internet fraudsters will soon be arraigned in court by the Benin Zonal office of the EFCC. The suspects, Shiko Romeo, Bobby Edigiu, Henry Nisike and Emmanuel Ayo were arrested recently by men of the Nigeria police force on suspicion of being involved in internet fruad. Upon handing the suspects over to the EFCC Benin Zonal Office, operatives of the Commission embarked on painstaking investigations including forsenic analysis of their laptops where incriminating documents were retrieved and printed. The suspects later confessed to their involvement in internet fruad using fake identification on Facebook in their attempt to hoodwinked unsuspecting persons especially European and American women. Ikoyi whistle-blower jets out as FG pays first tranche of his N421m reward

The whistle-blower, who helped the EFCC recover the $43m, N23.2m and £27,800 (N13bn) from an Ikoyi apartment on April 12, 2017, has finally been paid his commission, Punchng reports. It was also learnt that the whistle-blower travelled out of the country less than 24 hours after receiving part of the N421m reward. The whistle-blower’s lawyer, Mr. Yakubu Galadima, confirmed the development on Wednesday. He praised the government for finally honouring its agreement after eight months. Man Pours Acid On Wife For Prolonging Visit To Her Parents Home

A woman is in critical condition after her husband allegedly poured acid on her for delaying to return to their marital home after visiting her ailing grandfather. Kenyan woman who distracted German husband with sex to allow lover to kill him, appears in court

A Kenyan woman based in Germany appeared in court Wednesday for the alleged murder of her German husband in September 2016. The suspects, Armina A. a mother of two and her lover, Jan D conspired and killed her husband, Ekkehart H while she was making love with him at their home in Ebersdorf. German newspaper Bild reports that the court documents show how Armina A. planned the murder of her husband Ekkehart H, carefully laying down the plans with her lover who was identified as Jan D. On the said day, Armina is said to have let her lover into the house and led him into the basement where she had a machete which had a blade of about 40cm. Jealous boyfriend attacks man with razor for talking to his lover

A 21-year-old man, Ibrahim Oyebanji, who allegedly assaulted a man with a razor blade for talking with his girlfriend, was on Thursday brought before a Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos. According to Prosecutor, Sgt. Christopher Okoliko, Oyebanji assaulted a 23-year-old, Michael Opara, by cutting him with a razor blade on his chest and caused him bodily harm on May 28th at 10.00.a.m. on Sari-Iganmu Road in Orile, Lagos. The accused, he alleged, also stole Opara’s N24,500 and a Nokia phone valued at N2,500, all valued at N27,000. He told the court that the accused saw the complainant having a talk with his girlfriend and out of jealousy, he brought out the blade and cut him on the chest. The offences contravened Sections 173 and 278 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 (Revised). The accused, however, pleaded innocence of the offences. Police arrest wanted notorious Kogi kidnappers

Men of the Nigeria Police have arrested two wanted notorious kidnappers in Kogi State. The police had launched a manhunt on the duo of 24-year-old Suleiman Isah and Musa Mohammed, 31, both natives of Ankpa LGA of Kogi State after they allegedly abducted one Alhaji Jibrin Idris, an Islamic scholar and the chief Imam at Enabo in Ankpa district. The gunmen later released the cleric after collecting undisclosed amount of money as ransom. Subsequently, IGP Ibrahim Idris ordered a manhunt on the kidnappers by operatives of the Intelligence Response Team, IRT, led by courageous ACP Abba Kyari. The kidnappers, upon collecting the ransom escaped to Enugu State on sensing that IRT was trailing them.
