Delta State’s Police Command PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, on Tuesday confirmed that 3 worshipers of a church located in the outskirt of Warri, died during a deliverance service. He went further to disclose that one of the deceased drowned, while two others died during a prayer session in the church at the weekend. “The information actually is that one worshipper drowned and two died in the church; that is the information available to me at the moment,” Aniamaka said. A suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudi Dumeme Onuamadike , also known as Evans, who was arrested by police in Lagos said on Sunday that he chose to collect ransom in American dollars to be different from other kidnappers. The suspect, while being paraded at the Lagos Police Command in Ikeja, told newsmen that he started kidnapping in 2015, after he left his spare parts business, a claim that contradicted the police statement that he was declared wanted in 2013. A Nigerian man residing in New Addington, who pretended to be 10 years younger online to groom and then secretly film sexual activity with young girls, has been jailed. Olubunmi Abolumo, of Central Parade, opened and ran a social media account where he pretended to be 19, when he is actually 29, to befriend young girls, all under 16. After grooming them, unemployed Abolumo would invite them to his home where he took part in sexual activity, secretly recording them on a webcam on his laptop. Police said that at the time, the victims were not aware he had been recording them. Detective Superintendent John Macdonald, of the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, described Abolumo as a "very dangerous" offender. . Court hands cash EFCC discovered in Lagos to Federal Govt. The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered that the $38million, N23million and £27,000, recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a residential building located at Osborne Towers, Ikoyi be temporarily forfeited to the Nigerian government. In a ruling presided by Justice Muslim Hassan this afternoon, he ordered that the funds be handed over to the Federal Government pending when the owner surfaces to make a court case against the order. The case was adjourned until May 5, 2017.
