Lady faints after mistakenly breaking a £34,000 bracelet while trying it on at a shop

A tourist in China is reported to have fainted after accidentally breaking a jade bracelet worth £34,000. The woman was visiting a jade market in Ruili City, south western China's Yunnan province on June 27 when she accidentally dropped a bracelet while trying it on. Unfortunately for the woman, the jade bracelet snapped in half, reports the People's Daily Online. . According to reports, the bracelet slipped out of her hand and it cracked in two after hitting the floor. Footage shows the moment the woman faints upon learning the price of the bracelet. . Jade is a luxury product in China and is seen to represent good health and a long life. Following the smash, the shop's owner told her that the bracelet was worth £34,000. She was reportedly so shocked that she passed out and had to be placed on the ground by family members in order to recover. Inspector General Of Police Gives Update On Notorious Kidnapper Evans

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, said on Friday that the notorious kidnapper, Chukwudidumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, would be charged to court soon. Idris attributed the delay in Evans’ prosecution to police investigations to track down his accomplices within and outside the country. Evans had raked in millions of dollars as ransoms paid to him by his victims’ families before his arrest on June 10, 2017, in one of his mansions at Magodo, Lagos State. The IG, who spoke at a lecture which centred on proffering solutions to security challenges in Lagos, expressed worry at the rate at which the youth were venturing into kidnapping. Festac man, Chigozie Topaz Arukwe dies after being hit by a car

FMB gathered that Chigozie Topaz Arukwe was expecting his parents who are currently based in US, back in Nigeria and began preparations to give them a grand welcoming by renovating their apartment at 41 road Festac on Friday. He decided to make it easy for the painters after they made him realize the paint bought won't be enough, so he went to get the paint himself at Agboju Old Ojo Road. He parked his jeep at Agboju, crossed over to Old Ojo Road but met his death on his way back after being hit by a car on Badagry Expressway. He died on the spot. Many testified that Chigozie was a very generous fellow. May his soul rest in peace.
