Man Kidnaps Facebook Lover, 16, Raped Her For 4 Days, Demands N4m Ransom

A 16-year old girl, Victory, was recently abducted by a man she befriended through Facebook. The 24-year old kidnap suspect, Michael Duda, was yesterday, paraded in Benin, Edo State. Micheal, an OND graduate of Business Administration from the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, said he got to know Victory after she accepted his friend’s request. He said as their friendship grew stronger, he decided to invite her to his house which she accepted. He however denied that he abducted her against her wish, adding that both of them planned her kidnap to raise money. The teenage kidnap victim said Micheal invited her to come to his house, less than a month of becoming friends on Facebook. She said getting there, Michael abducted her and kept her for four days, raped her and also demanded for N4 million for her release. A "trainee pilot" has been arrested as the investigation into the terror network behind Salman Abedi spreads across Britain. The 23-year-old, understood to be Libyan, was arrested at a property in Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex, more than 260 miles from the Manchester Arena where Abedi detonated a suicide bomb a week ago killing 22 people. Lagos secondary school students orchestrate the arrest of 2 notorious pickpockets .

Taoreed Ashimiyu, 24, and Kayode Jolade, 34, were two successful pickpocket partners shuttling between Maryland and Mile 12 Markets in buses. Their targets were commuters’ mobile phones and purses. They stood at bus stops monitoring commuters with fat and bulging pockets. They stealthily remove these valuables while commuters rush to board buses.
