Festac man, Chigozie Topaz Arukwe dies after being hit by a car

FMB gathered that Chigozie Topaz Arukwe was expecting his parents who are currently based in US, back in Nigeria and began preparations to give them a grand welcoming by renovating their apartment at 41 road Festac on Friday. He decided to make it easy for the painters after they made him realize the paint bought won't be enough, so he went to get the paint himself at Agboju Old Ojo Road. He parked his jeep at Agboju, crossed over to Old Ojo Road but met his death on his way back after being hit by a car on Badagry Expressway. He died on the spot. Many testified that Chigozie was a very generous fellow. May his soul rest in peace.

Founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has warned the Zambian government after the forceful deportation of one of his pastors that work in their country. As men of the Zambian police and officials of the Zambian Immigration service, stormed the home of the pastor , Austine Obosele, in Lusaka, to deport him back to Nigeria. They accused him of staying in their country despite the expiration of his employment permit. Obosele told Zambian press that he had been trying to renew his immigration documentation but that a senior official from the Ministry of Religious National Guidance had vowed to see to it that he was deported after he refused to give him K30, 000 as bribe. Obosele alleged that some expelled members of the church had also teamed up with the government officials so that they could take over the church, money in the church account and properties after his deportation. Libyans auction Nigerians, others for $400 - CNN report

Stranded Nigerians and migrants of other nationals in Libya are in a dire situation as smugglers now auction them for sale as slaves in the North African country for as low as $400 (N144,000). In a video footage report published by CNN, some stranded immigrants were seen in a brief clip being auctioned for sale, with the auctioneer saying they are, “big strong boys for farm work.” According to the report, Nigerians are sold at the auctions, which usually take place at least twice in a month, for 900, 1,000 Libyan Dinars, depending on the physical strength the migrant possesses. In the video, an unidentified Nigerian, who is believed to be in his late 20s, was sold during the transaction. Locals have labelled a baby born in an Indian village with large red eyes and holes in place of his nose an "alien". The unnamed boy was born to Karishma and Arshad at their home in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, India, in the early hours of Tuesday.But when the young mother was stunned when she saw her second child for the first time.
