An Osun State High Court sitting in Ilesa has declared that the change of name of the state to “State of Osun” by Gov. Rauf Aregbesola is illegal, null and void. According to PremiumTimes, delivering the judgment on Thursday, Justice Yinka Afolabi ruled that the law and its makers were unknown to the 1999 Constitution. 14-year-old girl brutally gang raped and murdered in South Africa

14-year-old schoolgirl, Luyanda Mhlongo was strangled to death after she was brutally gang raped and repeatedly stabbed in a plantation, a stone’s throw from her home in Elokishini near Eshowe in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Her body‚ partially clothed and riddled with stab wounds‚ was discovered by children playing in the trees on Saturday, May 20. “We think she died on Friday night but we are not sure‚ all we know is that she didn’t come home‚” her sister Hlengiwe Mathenjwa said.Police are trying to piece together Mhlongo’s last moments after she returned from school to change her clothes and then left to meet with her friends. “They told us that she was gang raped.
